Do you want to have healthy, thriving relationships? Of course we do!
That’s why next weekend we’re starting a brand new series Pastor Steve is calling “Better.”
It’s all geared around relationships - more specifically “How to get Better” with our relationships by helping us understand the different personalities of people, help us resolve conflict, enhance our communication. The ultimate goal is to use the Bible to learn how to live in healthy OR healthier relationships.
First Week - Special Guests
Drs. Les & Leslie Parrot
April 23 and 24
Les and Leslie. A husband-and-wife team who not only share the same name, but the same passion for helping others build healthy relationships.
Part of Les and Leslie’s vision for building stronger, life-long marriages is to equip a band of more than a million marriage mentors who walk alongside less experienced couples. Research reveals that marriage mentoring is one of the best things we can do to cut the divorce rate and improve marriages – whether couples are engaged, newly married or married of decades.
Plan Your Visit
Our weekend services are designed with the whole family in mind and include contemporary worship and a time of biblical teaching. Each service is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.
Healthy Me Healthy Us books are available for purchase at your Campus Bookstore.
Small Groups
They will also be bringing two of their relationship assessments – the “Better Love” Assessment for couples which will help you grow closer together, strengthen your marriage, and learn to love better, and the “Yada” Assessment for singles which will equip you to be developed and grow as an individual. Access to the books and assessments will be made available through your campus bookstore.
After we’ve received these valuable learnings and tools from Les and Leslie, it’s time to apply it to our lives. Host or join a Love Better or Yada small group - these small groups that focus on the “Better Love” and “Yada” assessments.
