Local Reach focuses on being a part of community transformation through meeting the practical needs of others with the love and compassion of Jesus.
1) Mobilize People Local Reach teams are filled with people who have a heart to serve in practical ways and believe it is our responsibility to help bring hope to the local community.
2) Identify Partnerships Church of the King strategically partners with like-minded organizations, churches, and other non-profit groups to help meet and resource their needs.
3) Develop Projects Projects are designed through Church of the King’s partnerships and relationships to create interactive, hands-on serve opportunities for the Local Reach teams.

|Second Saturday SERVE||Teams serve with community partners on the second Saturday of every month to consistently support our region.|
|SERVE Day||Every year on the second Saturday in July, our church family joins an international movement to mobilize serve teams to meet practical needs throughout the Gulf Coast region.|
|Back to School Supply Drive||Through the generosity of our church family, we support local schools across our region with required supplies.|
|Thanksgiving Box Outreach||November’s Second Saturday Serve Project includes the opportunity to give toward a complete family meal in a box and join the Packing Party to assemble these boxes.|
|Hope for Christmas||December’s Second Saturday Serve Project includes the opportunity to give toward a child’s Christmas gifts and join the Wrapping Party to package the gifts.|
|Disaster Relief||In times of natural disaster, our church family works tactically with local officials and relief partners to PRAY, GIVE, and SERVE.|
