### What is Serve Day? Church of the King is partnering with hundreds of churches worldwide to make a global impact by serving our local communities. On July 13, teams will be mobilized across the Gulf Coast region to share the love of Christ by serving our friends and neighbors. Make an eternal impact by taking part in this monumental, one-day opportunity! This is a great time for small groups, friends, and families to serve together!
### Who is responsible for the supplies and resources needed for a SERVE project? Each team captain and team are responsible for all of the supplies and resources associated with their SERVE project. Spend time determining the scope of your project and plan work based on your group size and commitment level.
### What should I bring on SERVE day? Wear your red SERVE shirt. Plan on bringing any personal items you may need (sunscreen, drinking water, tennis shoes, hat, etc). Bring necessary items to your project (rakes, gloves, lawnmowers, tarps, work tools, etc). Also, check with your team captain for what you may need.
### Are there family friendly projects? Yes! There are great opportunities for the entire family to serve together, including young children. Look for the projects labeled "Family Friendly" when you sign up online.
### What if it rains? If you have an outside project, your team captain will contact you with a back up plan.
