At Church of the King, we believe in being a generous church. That is why we routinely respond to needs in our local communities and across our nation arising from natural disasters. It is the family of God who pulls together, strengthens one another, and takes immediate action. Church of the King actively partners with churches in the affected areas, as well as relief organizations to assess opportunities to give and serve.
Three phases have been identified regarding the devastation and because of your continued generosity, we as a church family are prepared to respond.
Rescue efforts by professional and equipped teams are always the initial and most urgent call to action. Please continue to pray for all those affected and first responders.
As the initial impact subsides and practical needs are assessed, we will begin to meet the needs of those affected through our relationships with local churches in the devastated areas, as well as relief organizations.
To assist in our efforts, you can give to our disaster relief fund through Local Outreach. Your donation will provide hope, resources, and relief to aid in the recovery efforts.
