Church of the King’s weekly teams serve using their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities during regular weekend and weekday services.
The Campus Safety team has the unique privilege of providing a safe environment for our members and guest by being alert to any safety risks or threats to our members and guests, and being available to assist in any safety emergency on campus.
The Children’s Check-in team has the privilege of being the first layer of showing how we truly care for children by actively greeting families with a smile, giving a word of encouragement, providing friendly check-in assistance to new and returning families, and assigning each child to the appropriate classroom using our Fellowship One database and nametag system.
The Coffee team blesses people by preparing the Connect Café to serve our church family, cheerfully engaging them as they come for a fresh cup of coffee or tea with a sincere smile, words of encouragement, and friendly assistance with condiments.
The Communion team has the distinct honor of creating an opportunity for members and guests to receive communion by preparing the elements, setting up the environment, and serving our church family as they receive the elements.
The Deaf Community team has the privilege of interpreting during the weekend service to the deaf community through sign language. By this special interpretation, the deaf community receives the Good News of the Gospel and can participate in the life-giving weekend services of the church.
The Dream Team Connect team has the unique opportunity to assist those serving on the Dream Team with check-in, important information, and registration needs, as well as connecting with individuals interested in joining a team.
The Events team helps create a warm, welcoming environment for guests through planning, preparing, and executing many aspects of special events, such as Women’s Nights, Men’s Nights, Freedom, Christmas, Easter, and other special events hosted by the Church of the King family.
The Facilities team helps create an environment of excellence for guests and members by ensuring that the grounds and facilities are well-kept, safe, and ready to receive people for services and events.
The First Responder team is a special ministry of medical care professionals who respond to medical emergencies on the church campus with a caring and loving approach.
The Jail Ministry team has the honor of serving in local correctional facilities as hosts during livestream services, prayer team members, and small group leaders.
The Greeter team is one of the very first impressions that people have when they come to Church of the King. This team creates a warm and inviting environment by cheerfully greeting guests, opening doors, handing out bulletins, assisting with general questions, and speaking words of encouragement.
The Growth Track team provides a warm, welcoming environment for participants of the Growth Track classes and Water Baptism through preparing the environment and materials, hosting check-in, and connecting with participants to make their experience memorable.
The Hospitality team has the unique opportunity to host the Dream Team as they serve through preparing snacks, connecting with the team, and expressing gratitude for their commitment to serve.
The Information Central team is the information hub during weekend services for all members and guests who need friendly guidance and assistance regarding all the activities, resources, and ministries offered at Church of the King.
The King’s Kids team creates safe, fun environments for ages 6-weeks through 5th grade, where kids engage in worship, connect with one another and their leaders, and learn the Word of God. The King’s Kids team also offers training and opportunities to serve with programming for special needs children.
The Parking team has the honor of being the first and last team every person encounters when they come to Church of the King. This team not only assists with parking vehicles, but directs traffic flow, shuttles families, assists the elderly, and creates warm welcomes and fond farewells through smiles, waves, and words of encouragement.
The Practical Care team has the privilege of serving those who are hospitalized or immobile at home providing the practical needs of encouragement, prayer, support, and meals.
The Prayer team has the privilege of serving our church family and guests through prayer-focused teams such as altar teams and intercessors.
The Production team creates the environment for weekend services, livestream, classes, meetings, and special events at Church of the King through graphics, sound, video, camera, lighting, staging, and other behind-the-scenes responsibilities.
The Resource Center team provides friendly, knowledgeable service and support to meet the needs of people looking for reading and education resources, Bibles, and small group materials.
The Spanish Interpretation team provides a welcoming and comfortable environment by connecting with Spanish-speaking guests and checking out interpretation headsets, as well as providing interpretation during services and events.
The Usher team has the unique opportunity to help facilitate a meaningful and safe worship experience for our members and guests by warmly welcoming people with a friendly smile, providing assistance with special needs, eliminating any potential distractions, administering all offerings, and facilitating special services such as Communion.
The Youth team has the privilege of serving students at Limitless or young adults at C20 through various Dream Team roles and small group host opportunities.
The Worship team is filled with passionate musicians and vocalists that love to use their gift to glorify God and lead others into His presence during services and events.
