The library at Audubon Elementary has been out of use since COVID-19 and Hurricane Ida, turning into a cluttered storage space. We’re launching a multi-phase service project to restore it into a clean, organized, and welcoming place for students to learn and explore—just in time for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers have shared that literacy rates at the school have declined, and transforming the library will be a meaningful step in supporting students and fostering a love of reading. Join us as we declutter, clean, and bring this space back to life!
Project Vision: The principal of Audubon has invited all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to join us for a time of games and connection. Our team will be on campus facilitating games, handing out treats, building relationships, and inviting students to church. Our heart is to connect with them in a genuine, fun way—ultimately inviting them into community and helping them get connected to Jesus, all in a natural and low-pressure environment.
This is a high-energy, relational project focused on showing up, having fun, and connecting with the next generation. If you’re down for a good time, don’t mind getting a little sweaty, and love hanging out with youth, this project is for you!
