The library at Audubon Elementary has been out of use since COVID-19 and Hurricane Ida, turning into a cluttered storage space. We’re launching a multi-phase service project to restore it into a clean, organized, and welcoming place for students to learn and explore—just in time for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers have shared that literacy rates at the school have declined, and transforming the library will be a meaningful step in supporting students and fostering a love of reading. Join us as we declutter, clean, and bring this space back to life!
Project Vision: For this project, our team will be remodeling the Audubon teacher’s lounge—refreshing the space by painting, hanging décor, and creating a welcoming environment for the staff. If you enjoy using your hands, being part of a team, and seeing a space come to life, this project is for you!

7:45 AM: Arrive at church for Dream Team check-in + breakfast (T-shirt pick-up if needed)
8:00 AM: Large Group huddle
8:15 AM: Project-specific huddle
8:30 AM: Travel to Audubon
9:00 AM: Arrive
