New Orleans Mission

Hygiene Kit Assembly

1405 W Esplanade Ave Kenner, LA 70065-2850

New Orleans Mission serves individuals transitioning out of homelessness, addiction, and human trafficking—providing care for men, women, and children. Below are opportunities to come alongside them and serve in different areas of their ministry!

Project Vision: Hello team! This is the Love Your Street Project. We’ll be assembling hygiene kits that will be distributed at church for people to keep in their cars and give out when they encounter someone in need. The Bible calls us not to turn away from the poor, and these kits are a practical way to love people well. Each kit will also include an instruction sheet to help people know how and when to use them. This is a special integration project in partnership with Eden House. One of the women, who has experienced homelessness, helped design what goes into the kits! Together, we’ll create denture kits, women’s kits, and co-ed kits, all led by one of the Eden House ladies. If you love meaningful conversation, organization, and using your hands, this project is for you!
