Project Vision: This project is going to be sweet. We’ll be hosting a special “Pamper” moment for the women in both the long-term and short-term housing at Eden House. Eden House walks alongside women who have been rescued from human trafficking, many of whom are in intensive counseling and healing programs. Our goal is to create a calm, welcoming environment where they can relax, be cared for, and feel valued. During our project huddle we will go over how to appropriately engage with the clients, but a simple girls’ day usually opens the door for meaningful conversation!  

Over the last couple of months we’ve been building rapport with the ladies, and they are really excited to have us back. We want to show up loving, present, and willing to listen. We’ll be offering four pampering stations such as nails, hair trims and styles, eyebrows etc. along with coffee and treats for them to enjoy. If you are skilled in a pampering area, please text the team leader! 

The last time we did a pamper project, one of the women kept her nails on for almost three months because she loved them so much, and another woman even decided to come to church because of how loved she felt after that day. That is the HEART! Thank you for being willing to serve!

Serve Day Schedule: 

7:45 AM: Arrive at church for Dream Team check-in + breakfast (T-shirt pick-up if needed)

8:00 AM: Large Group huddle

8:15 AM: Project-specific huddle

8:30 AM: Travel to project 

9:00 AM: Arrive at Eden House
