We would like to invite your child to attend service in our special needs classroom. Our special needs department is staffed by trained childcare workers who are committed to creating an environment of safety, love, and learning for your child. Weekly lessons include fun activities as well as teaching from the Bible. Each student is able to participate in our program and lessons to the extent of their abilities. We practice inclusion whenever possible, and want our students to be accepted and celebrated for their achievements. We look forward to serving your child!
As a special needs parent, we understand the unique challenges you face in pursuing your own spiritual development in the midst of all that you do. We are excited to have several small groups that cater to special needs family so that you and your spouse can spend time growing deeper with God, working on your marriage, etc. All small groups have childcare options. Groups meet during the three regular small group semesters that run during the year – for a complete listing of special needs small groups and childcare options, contact the Special Needs Coordinator, at [email protected].
We believe that special needs parents are heroes, and need a break every once in a while. On the second Saturday of every month, we offer a “respite” event where you can drop off your special needs child for a few hours. Our trained special needs volunteers will provide your child with a fun-filled program that will include games, Bible stories, and refreshments. You will be free to go on a date, run some errands, or just take a nap! For more details, contact the Special Needs Coordinator, at [email protected].
Our All-Star team exists to give special needs youth and adults aged 16+ opportunities to volunteer at the church. The All-Stars serve in a safe, supportive environment, and everyone is given the opportunity to be a part! For more details, contact the Special Needs Coordinator, at [email protected].
