Our nursery/preschool program ministers to children from six-weeks-old to kindergarten. During services, our teams provide a nurturing, secure environment and help young children learn about God in fun, creative ways.
Each weekend, children in kindergarten through 5th grade participate in a large group service designed especially for them. These services help make the Gospel come alive through biblical teaching, music, drama, comedy sketches, and videos. Afterward, children will meet in age-designated classrooms where they will learn how to apply the message that they’ve heard and how they can share God’s truth with others.
King's Kids offers programming for special needs children every weekend during services at all campuses.

At Church of the King, your children are a top priority. The purpose of the children’s ministry, King’s Kids, is to see each child develop a dynamic, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We want them to know the Lord and become transformed by the Holy Spirit working in their lives and to see the Holy Spirit use them to spread the Gospel to others.
Our qualified children’s teams create safe, fun environments where kids can engage in worship, connect with one another and their leaders, and learn the Word of God.
To ensure the health of children and volunteers, we ask our King’s Kids parents to follow our Wellness Policy based on guidelines provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

1 Samuel 1:27-28 NASB
Baby dedication is a moment in which parents make a public commitment before the Lord and their church to raise their child according to God’s Word and His ways. The idea of dedicating a child to the Lord can be found in the Bible in 1 Samuel 1 when Hannah promised to dedicate her child to God if He would give her a son.
Baby dedication does not imply salvation but acknowledges that each person is a gift from God and was created by Him for a purpose. At baby dedication, parents are declaring that they will raise up their children in the ways of the Lord.
Church of the King requires that the parent(s) presenting the child for dedication must be members of the church at the time of registration. (Please note that membership is acquired by signing the membership agreement form at Step One: Starting Point.)
For more information or to register your child for baby dedication, please call 985-727-7017.
